Maurizio Cattelan

Hypersurealist, Maurizio Cattelan knows how to make a statement. What that statement is…well…i’m not sure. Described as being a modern day Duchamp, Cattelan takes a jab at the seriousness of the modern art world. Within all of his installations there seems to be a well hidden smirk directed at anyone staunchy enough not to be having fun. Personally, not only do I find him awesome but I found a quote, that he gave in an interview with designboom that makes me like him even more.
